Leslie Noble
Licensed Professional Counselor
I help clients set boundaries and recognize toxic relationship cycles. Relating to others can be hard, especially when we are struggling to be compassionate towards ourselves. If you are struggling to take action in life, I can help you make decisions based on values instead of feelings, resulting in meaningful change. I’m certified in DBT and help my clients explore new coping skills for emotional regulation, mindfulness, interpersonal skills, and tolerating distress.
I see adult clients of all gender and sexuality orientations who live in the state of Virginia. All sessions are held virtually.

I work with mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, identity, career issues, and life transitions. I help clients identify and heal toxic relationship patterns. This could mean a romantic relationship, a family relationship, or even a relationship with work. We all relate to people and aspects of our lives in unhealthy ways at times. However, we can work to change that.

My main therapeutic modalities are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and self-compassion. As an ally, I work to create safe space for LGBTQIA+ clients.
Throughout my career I have worked in Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, and in private practice.
My approach
My approach is warm, empathetic, and personable. I like to think I'm also funny, but I'll leave that up to you. Therapy with me is a conversation. I do my best to create a comfortable and casual atmosphere where you will feel safe, supported, and heard. I may be an expert on mental health, but you are the expert on your own life. After all, you know who you are. I am simply helping to bring forth the best parts of you, encourage you, and help you make meaningful change.
I received my formal training in counseling from The College of William & Mary. I earned a Masters of Education Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and graduated in 2022. I completed my practicum, internship, and residency working in multiple private practices and in a Partial Hospitalization Program. During this time, I became proficient in providing individual counseling as well as leading group therapy. Upon becoming independently licensed, I continued my work in Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs. I also started Noble Counseling LLC where I see clients virtually in Virginia.
I accept Aetna, Cigna, and Care First insurances
