Leslie Noble
Licensed Professional Counselor
Relating to others can be hard, especially when we are struggling to be compassionate towards ourselves. Therapy with me is a step towards calming your inner critic and learning to self soothe. I will help you set boundaries, face anxiety, and recognize patterns that need to change. If you’re struggling with anxiety and depression, I use grounding, visualization, and breathing techniques to help you create a calm body and regulate your nervous system. I also specifically help women examine their relationship with alcohol.
I’m certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and will help you explore new coping skills for emotional regulation, mindfulness, interpersonal skills, and tolerating distress.
I have a background in dance and yoga and enjoy using movement to explore, process, and regulate emotion. I always ask your comfort level to see if movement is appropriate.

I use a warm, compassionate, and conversational approach. Sessions with me are comfortable and casual to help you feel accepted as you are.
I see adult clients of all genders and sexual orientations who live in the state of Virginia.
I provide individual, couples, and group counseling.
As an ally, I create a safe and open space for LGBTQIA+ clients. All sessions are held virtually.
My clients include:
- High achieving women struggling to maintain balance
- Women who want to reevaluate their relationship with alcohol

- Adults struggling with suicidal thoughts who are appropriate for outpatient care
- People experiencing loss, depression, hopelessness, and uncertainty

- Couples struggling in relationships who want help supporting each other, setting boundaries, and communicating.

- People who are frustrated with anxiety and want to learn skills to cope and calm their bodies

I take an active role in the therapy space. I don’t “just listen”. Think of me as your new teammate supporting you while you learn new skills to help yourself.
