Noble Counseling llc

Welcome! I'm Leslie Noble, licensed psychotherapist. I am accepting new in person clients at my office in Old Town Alexandria as well as new telehealth clients throughout Virginia & Maryland. I can't wait to work with you!

If you’re overwhelmed with emotion or your inner critic is running the show, you’re not alone. Relating to others can be hard, especially when we are struggling to be compassionate towards ourselves.

I help teens, adults, & couples who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and having trouble in their relationships. Past events may be troubling you or holding you back. I help reprocess what happened so it doesn’t affect your present. I also love teaching coping skills and giving practice worksheets so you can make daily progress.

I specifically help women with intrusive thoughts, alcohol use, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I also enjoy working with other healthcare and helping professionals who are struggling with burnout and compassion fatigue. I'm specifically trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy.

I love working as an LPC and it shows in my commitment to my clients. All emails go directly to me so you can feel confident in reaching out. Please email me to schedule a free 15min zoom consultation to discuss goals and scheduling. I can't wait to hear from you!

my education

I received my formal training in counseling from The College of William & Mary. I earned a Masters of Education Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and graduated in 2022. I completed my practicum, internship, and residency working in multiple private practices and in a Partial Hospitalization Program. During this time, I became proficient in providing individual counseling as well as leading group therapy. Upon becoming independently licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia, I continued my work in Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs. In 2024, I started Noble Counseling LLC.

In my previous career, I performed and taught professionally as a modern dancer. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance Performance from UNC Greensboro in 2014. I taught in dance studios, a public middle school, and performed with Jane Franklin Dance in Arlington, VA. I have also completed RYT-200 Yoga Teacher Training and have continued dancing. I have taken classes with Dance for PD, a curriculum created by Mark Morris Dance Group for those with Parkinson's Disease. I enjoy helping clients learn to ground with movement and use somatic practices to reduce their mental health symptoms.

Insurance & Payment
Insurance & Payment

Therapy isn't just another appointment. It is a thoughtful investment in your health, relationships, and future.

In Network:

I accept Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Oscar, United, and BCBS Care First insurances in the state of Virginia.

Out of network:

Self pay rate for individual psychotherapy: $175

Self pay rate for couples psychotherapy: $240

Self pay rates for group sessions may vary ($50-$60 per group session)

I offer a sliding scale rate for college students.

For self pay clients with out of network benefits, I use Thrizer. This is a service that helps clients access out of network benefits. This simplifies the reimbursement process for a better experience overall and in some cases lowers your initial out of pocket cost.

Why do some clients choose not to use insurance?

There are many reasons a person may opt out of using insurance. For instance, insurance may dictate session time length, frequency of session, or treatment planning. If you want more individualized and autonomous care, self pay may be the best option for you.
